All work activities declared under hot works require at least one appointed and trained fire watcher, fire watchmen when apply for hot work permit.
As part of health & safety regulations that apply to public and workplace emergency, It has been proven that a well-trained workforce not only reduces the risk of fire, but in the event of one, responds quickly and effectively to minimise the damage.

- Introduction to Fire Safety Requirements
- Case studies on past incidents
- Concept and behaviour of combustion
- Understanding fire hazards and fire controls
- Definition and planning of Hot works
- Responsibilities and duties of fire watcher and emergency key appointment holders
- Fire extinguishing equipment
- Firefighting training
- Fire Evacuation Drills and company policies
- Risk Assessments
- Awareness of existing fire policies that affects the current work force
Course Duration: 3 Hours in duration
No. of Participants: Recommend maximum of 10 participants
Course Certification
O’Dwyer Safety Services Certification will be provided on successful completion of this Fire Watch training course. Certification is valid for 2 years.
OSS will accommodate clients wherever possible with regard to rescheduling or cancelling courses, however OSS reserves the right to apply the following:
