Safe Pass is a safety awareness training programme for construction workers. This one-day programme provides workers with a basic knowledge of health and safety to make them aware of the inherent dangers on work sites so that they will not be a risk to themselves or to their co-workers who work alongside them.

Managers, supervisors and operatives who are required to plan, organise, manage, or undertake work where there is a risk of contact with hazardous underground energy sources or services.
This training is required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.

Manual Handling involves any transporting or supporting of any load by one or more employees, and includes lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving a load, which by reason of its characteristics or unfavourable ergonomic conditions, involves risk, particularly of back injury, to employees

Managers, supervisors and operatives who are required to plan, organise, direct and manage road works, in both rural and urban situations. This training is mandatory under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006

Course Suitable For:

This is a 1 Day Assessment course for experienced mobile tower scaffold users. Learners must have a minimum of three months on site experience assisting in the erection of a double width x 2.5m mobile tower scaffold. 

This course is suitable for anyone who is involved in, or whose work requires them to carry out work at heights using ladders.

This IPAF Operator 1 day training course is suitable for anyone who operates MEWP Scissor and/or Boom Lifts.  Previous Experience is highly recommended.

The aim of the training is to provide the participant with knowledge and skills to enable them to operate the MEWP (Mobile Elevated Working Platform) (3A & 3B) in a competent and safe manner. IPAF training is  increasingly becoming a requirement for MEWP operators working on Irish construction sites.

Please note operatives must also be certified Safety Harness Users when operating MEWPs on site.   The practical can be incorporated in the 3a & 3b course, the eLearning theory module must be completed prior to attending.  Extra charge applies.

This course is suitable for those attending IPAF MEWP training and who are required to wear a safety harness.   Awareness and understanding of how to correctly use a harness is critical to safe operation of MEWPs

Candidates must complete the eLearning IPAF Harness Awareness Course (HA) and then complete the practical assessment (HU) which is incorporated into a Candidate’s IPAF MEWP Operator Course.  The eLearning module must be completed on a laptop
