Course Suitable for

This First Aid Response Refresher course, intended for certified First Aiders who wish to refresh skills that may be only occasionally used. The course is highly interactive with practical exercises to reinforce understanding and learning

Course Award

Following the successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Certificate of Competence from the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC). This certification is valid for 2 years.

  • Explain new developments in First Aid

Pre-Course Requirements

Any learner wishing to attend a 2-day Refresher course must be able to produce either of the following:

Pro-forma letter or certificate of completion from previous OFA/FAR instructor which confirms date of training /renewal date. Certificate must be in date, an expired certificate will not be accepted.

Learners cannot attend a 2-day Refresher if they are unable to confirm/verify previous OFA training (QQI certification) or FAR training (PHECC certification).

Learners must attend a 2-day refresher within 2 years of attending their previous OFA course.

Cancellation Policy

OSS will accommodate clients wherever possible with regard to rescheduling or cancelling courses, however OSS reserves the right to apply the following:
100% of cost less certification fee, if cancelled less than 7 working days from course date.

Cancellation notice must be given within our office hours i.e Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
