Course Suitable For:

Participants who would like the knowledge and confidence to operate the Scissors and/or Boom lift safely, protecting both you and those around you.

The course is intended for fitters and operators who use abrasive wheels, as defined in legislation.

This abrasive wheels training course is legally required for all those who are involved in the purchase & selection, storage & handling, mounting, dressing, and use of abrasive wheels. This includes either fixed (e.g. Bench grinders or polishers) or portable (e.g. angle grinders) abrasive wheels.

This course is suitable for anyone who is involved in, or whose work requires them to carry out work at heights using ladders.   

Course Suitable For:

Persons requiring knowledge and skills to fulfill the roles of the Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage. The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to supervise projects at construction stage in accordance with current health and safety regulations.

Anyone whose work requires them to work at heights and use a safety harness. The course does not include an award for detailed inspections or periodic examination of personnel protective equipment against falls from a height.

The course is aimed at those who are responsible for scaffolding, either in a management or supervisory role.  This can include site agents, site managers, site foremen, safety managers or other contractors.

Scaffolding on site needs to be accepted, inspected regularly (on erection / weekly following change) and this training enables responsible persons to carry out these weekly inspections in a safe and thorough manner by providing attendees with the legislative and practical knowledge required to complete the task.

This course is suitable for people wanting to gain knowledge, and develop skills so that they can effectively supervise safety back in the workplace.
