Anyone whose work requires them to work at heights and use a safety harness. The course does not include an award for detailed inspections or periodic examination of personnel protective equipment against falls from a height.

The course is aimed at those who are responsible for scaffolding, either in a management or supervisory role.  This can include site agents, site managers, site foremen, safety managers or other contractors.


Scaffolding on site needs to be accepted, inspected regularly (on erection / weekly following change) and this training enables responsible persons to carry out these weekly inspections in a safe and thorough manner by providing attendees with the legislative and practical knowledge required to complete the task.
